How qualified is your violin/viola/cello/upright bass instructor?
Our violin/viola/cello/upright bass instructor, Ian Jesse brings over 20 years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons. His accomplishments include winning a Tony Award and Grammy nomination for his work on A Strange Loop on Broadway and performing in the FIFA World Cup Fan Festivals and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has also performed with several renowned musicians, including The Roots, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, Timbuktu, Mulgrew Miller, Shirley Caesar, Israel Houghton, Ledisi, Bebe Winans, Richard Smallwood and Bishop Hezekiah Walker.
Do I need to purchase a violin/viola/cello/upright bass to learn the instrument?
Yes. We will provide recommendations of brands and vendors to assist you.
What are the rates:
The cost for a weekly 30 minute lesson is $240/month.
The cost for a weekly 45 minute lesson is $360/month.
The cost for a weekly 60 minute lesson is $480/month.
What days and times are available?
Violin/viola/cello/upright bass lessons are available on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
