Adult Singers:

Most of the singers that walk through my door have the same problems. Does this sound familiar?

  • You know you’re talented & you know you have what it takes to succeed, but you keep running into blocks with your voice.

  • You’ve worked with several voice teachers and vocal coaches, and you got a little better, but you haven’t made the kind of progress you expected.

  • You struggle to hit high notes with strength and power.

  • You have an annoying break in the middle of your voice that shouldn’t be there.

  • You're hoarse so often, you're starting believe it's normal.

A few years ago, I was exactly where you are right now. I had taken voice lessons for years, even had a degree in classical voice - but my voice was still inconsistent, especially when I sang pop, R&B and Gospel music. Eventually, I ended up with nodules, polyps, and a vocal fold hemorrhage. I lost over an octave of my range, was always hoarse, and soon I got really depressed. What's a singer with no voice?

Later on that year, I learned about a vocal method that changed my voice and changed my life. Through Somatic Voicework (tm), The LoVetri Method, I was introduced to concepts and tools that I had never heard in over 10 years of studying with different teachers. Within a year my voice was cured, without the need for any surgery. This method was so transformative that I was certified in all three levels of training, studied privately with Jeannette LoVetri (the founder of the method) for over 2 years, and participated in additional teacher-training workshops.

With the tools I've learned and my experience of working with hundreds of singers, I want to share with you EVERYTHING I’ve learned about how to get your voice strong and healthy. No more hoarseness. No more struggle. No more break in your voice. Just free, easy, powerful, honest singing.

You can do this. I’m going to show you how to do it!

Parents:

Are you ready to invest in a quality voice education for your child? Here are the results they will get as a result of their lessons at Cindy’s Music School:

  • He/she will learn how to sing powerfully without straining or hurting his/her voice.

  • He/she will build confidence that will translate to other areas of life.

  • He/she will enjoy singing age-appropriate songs that showcase his/her personality.

  • He/she will understand the music theory behind the songs.

  • He/she will be excited about their music lessons instead of dreading them!

  • He/she will be highly prepared for any upcoming vocal auditions.

  • He/she will have ample performance opportunities, including 2 recitals each year.

If that sounds like the experience you would love for your child to have, I'm your teacher! I have over 14 years of experience teaching hundreds of children ages 3 and up. From daycare centers, to schools, camps, churches, and my own music school, I've crafted individual and group lesson experiences that are fun, informative, and produce results! My students have passed vocal auditions for Mark Twain J.H.S., LaGuardia HS, PPAS, Repertory HS and Talent Unlimited HS.

Vocal Training Program

As a result of this program, you'll:

  • Extend your range

  • Learn proper breathing for singing

  • Learn warm-up and cool-down exercises specifically for your voice

  • Learn how to access the different registers of your voice and how to blend them seamlessly

  • Develop vocal clarity

  • Begin to develop ease, and accuracy with runs

  • Begin to develop vocal power without the tension that causes you to tire out

My teaching is very much influenced by my certification in Somatic Voicework™ The Lovetri Method. It is a body-based method of vocal training which is based upon voice science and medicine, traditional classical training, and various bodywork approaches. This method is applied successfully to R&B, Pop, Gospel, Musical Theater, Jazz, Caribbean, Folk and Classical styles.
